Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012!

Hello-hello girls! Do you know what was yesterday? Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012! It seems that the TV version we will watch only in December. If only you are not of those the luckiest people who visit this great show yesterday. 

Remember how in September we discussed the sketches and thought who will wear the Fantasy Bra? Well, I get the answers in the photos! Let's see!

This year the honour to wear the Fantasy Bra got Alessandra Ambrosio. For her it's for the first time even she has been a VS angel for 11 years, since 2001! Just imagine how long it took to her! Yesterday she was wakking the runway in amazing Fantasy Bra which is rather expensive (as usual actually) - 2,5 milloins of dollars. Let's take a look!

Interview with Oanh Phan

Those of you who visit my blog know that I like do interviwes with interesting people. Often it's not only bloggers. You can actually to read my interviews in a section "INTERVIEWS" which you can see on home page. This time I had a conversation with a blogger, girl named Oanh Phan from Norway. Here is her blog and feel free to visit and follow it! What things we discussed and what was the result of our conversation you can read below.

1.Tell me please about yourself.

My name is Oanh Phan, I`m 21 years old who was born and raised in Norway. My parents are originally from Vietnam. And im studying interior design. 

2.You have started blogging not so long ago. What was the push for you? 

I started floatchic.com cause I want to share my life through pictures and words. Or I mean, not life, life. In this context not private things but clothes and stuffs like that. 

3. What is the main goal of your blog and what's the main message of it for readers?

I had no specific goals. But I want people to be inspired and that the blog could be a source of inspiration for them.

4. Who is your fashion icon?

There is no doubt that Olivia Palermo is my favorite. She is very good to mix all the clothes, no matter what she wears. 

5. What are your all time favorite trends and what trends of this summer do you like the most?That was a hard question. Because i like all trends (almost). I really like studs and spikes on jeans, worn and cool. But I have to admit that the boyfriend jeans are always a win. Girls forget that we have bigger jeans. And when they first buy a jeans they go for a slim and tight one. Boyfriend jeans are way more comfy and cool. For the autumn trends i really love the burgundy colour, and oversized sweaters and jackets. 

6. In your opinion what trends are overvalued?

I can't say how much i hate crocs and uggs. Ugly, ugly, ugly. 

7. Where do you get inspiration?

From the streets, magazines and from celebrities who has a good sense of clothing. Like Olivia Palermo as I mentioned, Miranda Kerr, and a man called Nick Wooster. I think that there is so much to gained from men`s fashion too. He`s definetly the coolest man in the entire world. 

8. Does it care you if someone will say that don't like your style or will say that can style your clothes better?No, i dont care much about it. The must important thing is that im comfortable with what im wearing. 

9. Through all years there were so many changes in fashion. What time is favorite? 

I think the flared jeans from 70`s are so cool. 

10. How can you describe your style?

I would say it is minimalist, but still i can mix and match with accessories. 

11. Where do you prefer to buy clothes?

I'm not that picky, but zara and h&m are my favorites. And i love vintage shops, i love to find treasures that nobody else has. 

12. How does the wardrobe of your dreams look like and what it includes?

I want Olivia Palermo`s wardrobe. It is hard, because I can never have enough clothes, i want to mix and match everything. but everyone should have basically clothes like, black jeans, white tshirt, leather jacket and pumps. they are for sure great to have. 

13. How do you think is there a stylish couple where either man or woman are dressed with a taste and have great style?

I would say Camila Alves and Matthew Mcconaughey. They know how to suits each other. 

14. Do you have any quotes, wisdom sayings or mottoes what help you to live?

No, I just take it day by day, but still it is important that I achieve 100% in everything. 

15. Do you have any fashion taboos?

Despite the fact that many people love fashion and clothing have low status in Norway. It is somehow not allowed to say that one is fond of ornaments and beautiful clothes, because it is simply so low in value in the Norwegian culture. I don`t have any taboos, I just think that the norwegian people, the culture should open up their mind for fashion a little more. Somehow we are in a good way now, or I mean in a better way. 

16. Is there any fashion advice that you read somewhere or somebody told you and now you use it? If yes, please share with others.

Nobody has told me anything, but the think is I`ve been inspired by myself. I have taken it with my own eyes. for example in the street, and I`ve seen or read in magazines as well. 

17. In what fashion items do you invest the most of your money?

Maybe my leather boots and a pair of sunnies. 

18. Is fashion the only your hobby/love or there are some other things that you also like?I would say that fashion is life. so cliché, but it's true. We express ourselves through clothing, and it is also the first impression you give to people. Clothing is something you wear all the time, so why dont we play with it? We can play with it in all different ways. 

19.Share your blog experience and give advice for others!

Everyone should start blogging, its fun. It dont need to be fashion related, just whatever interests you.

Interview with a Talented and Young Model Liv Mathis!!!

Well girls I don't know what about you but I adore magazines. So tell me what we ALWAYS see there? But it's better to say "who" not "what"...Exactly..models! They stare at us with the perfect hair, great make-up and chic clothes. At least one of those who read it now wanted to be in the magazine. Am I right? Suppose I am. But have you ever thought that these girls are just like we are, with their own problems and dreams. Sometimes their perfect life (just like we think) isn't so perfect...

I had a chance to chat with so nice and amazing girl. She is a model and will be signing with an agency in NY and LA. I think in the nearest future she'll blow the world of models! So please meet Liv Mathis!!!

1. Firstly tell about yourself please.

My name is Liv Mathis. I just recently turned 17 years old! I was born in Atlanta, GA. I do have a bit of Euro In me but unfortunately I wasn't born there.

2. Tell about your childhood.

I was your average child. I grew up with one younger brother and one older  sister. But I do have another brother and 2 more sisters! They are older and moved out. I lived in Atlanta for 7 years and then moved to South Carolina. I miss Atlanta so much! I'm definitely a city girl!

3. Did you always want to be a model and how did you get into this business?

I originally wanted to be a celebrity make-up artist and/or hair stylist because of my extreme creativity. Dumbfounded, when I was 16 I was scouted by Steve Fox (Fox Models International) in our local mall. I walked in 2 show cases in front of several top New York agencies such as IMG, Next, Ford, etc. I had 7 out of 10 call backs but unfortunately did not sign with anyone. I started looking more and more into it with time and became obsessed with molding myself into a model. I lost weight, stayed toned, treated my hair, and cleared my skin. I knew for sure the rush that modeling gave me was something I wanted when I was 16.

4. Do you have some funny stories about modeling that happend to you? And can you tell one of them to readers?

Last February I ended up getting signed with an Atlanta agency. I signed with them because of a newly released TV show that they were involved with. Little did I know it wasn't all that it was mapped out to be. I booked zero jobs through this agency. All jobs I have accomplished were booked through myself. I was basically my own agent. Until a month ago! I'm in the midst of my release from my contract with the agency in Atlanta and I have many offers from other agencies all over the world. I'm planning to sign with an agency in LA. (I cannot release any names yet.) Its funny because I have been signed with this Atlanta agency for about 8 months and never knew I had all of these other great opportunities!

5. Who are your role models in this business?

My main role model is Georgia Jagger. She's so beautiful and she is the main reason I've decided to embrace the gap between my teeth. I feel it's important to be who you are and stay that way. And that's exactly what she has done.

6.  Did you meet the legendary models who are known all over the world?

I have met many, many, amazing models from all over the world but I have yet to meet any legends!

7. What is the best in your opinion your project which make you proud of yourself?

I cant really say quite say my most cherished work yet. I have done amazing things but I'm not yet where I want to be at!

8. On what magazine's cover have you been and on what you would like to be and why?

This month I have covered 2 fashion magazine's and done spreads for 5 different magazines. A few are Uptempo, MOD Magazine and K|W Report!

9. The face of what cosmetics, clothes, shoes you want to be in future?

I am not yet the face of any cosmetics or brands. I did shoot for Surf or City in St.Petersburg, Florida over the summer and am newly a face for them!

10. Does modeling give you the opportunity to travel and where have you already been?

I travel all of the time. I'm always on the road. Recently I've been in Atlanta, Orlando, and Nashville. Once I sign with a new agency I will be traveling way more.

11. Is it difficult to find the common language with other models? It's not a secret that you are all rivals for each other and is it possible to make a real friendship with models?

Most of the models I have met speak good English if they are from other countries. It's a very competitive industry, so cut throat. I can say that some of the best friends I have ever made are my competition. I've made very good friends with other models. We're all happy for each other and wish each other the best.

12. What do you wear in your everyday life and on castings?

I honestly am a mix between very classy and hippie. Some days I will be dressed like I'm walking red carpet and other days I'm dressed as if I don't have a care in the world. Although on castings I must always dress clean. A black tank, skinny jeans, and black heels is my usual outfit for castings.

13. What do you want to achieve in future? Do ou plan to be a model for all your life or want to do something else?

I have a lot of goals set for my modeling career. Many brands I want to be the face of. So I must keep that as a main focus for now. Eventually I'm sure, I want to be an agent. I'm always looking at teens thinking "He/She could be a supermodel!"

14. What's your favourite shoe, clothes and make-up brand? 

My favorite shoe line right now is Vince Camuto! LOVE the Wenters boot in black. My favorite make-up is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics! Their lip tar is the best! All of the MUA's should have it in their kit!

15. What photographer does the best photos in your mind?

Honestly I have met a lot of great photographers and I adore most of them! I will say my favorite so far is a photographer named Allen Cooley! His work is beautiful and he is very educated about not only photography but the whole industry! He's given me an enormous amount of tips!

16. Can you give some advice to those who want to be models: with what should they start, what they should know and how to look?

The best advice I can give to aspiring models is MAKE SURE you sign with the right agency! Do not get talked into anything. Also DO NOT pay to model! That's not how it's supposed to work! You're not supposed to be bankrupting yourself to have pretty pictures taken! Take some snap shots at home and send them in to an agency!! Be humble, and stay true to your dreams.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

It's 18th of October today and it means that it's my 23 birthday and I can't believe in this numbers! I know I am young and I know I will be always young because age isn't numbers it's your thoughts, way of life, dreams, how you present yourself to the world and my mother tought all of this. But I still can't understand how fast the years are passed! It makes me think that I should hurry to live and love, not to waste my time, to do what I really like and what can make me a better person and try to achieve all my dreams!

I also want to thank every person who visit and comment my blog. And OF COURSE big...no HUUUUGE thanks for my readers! I love you so much. I know it sounds so ordinary BUT if there were no you why should I have this blog? Every day I find here so many interesting and inspiring people.
