Inspiration or Plagiarism?

We all know that "NEW" is well forgotten old. Of course fashion is cyclical. New trends often remind us something that we already have seen. The key word "REMIND"! But where is the verge when the inspiration is over and a plagiarism starts? I found these photos and think that there is nothing about inspiration here! Only plagiarism. Photos in the right are collections that were made in 2013. Dior, Moschino, Celine and Prada are brands that actually not cheap at all. Many people can't afford their clothes. In this case can they do everything you see below? I think such brands MUST do something new and unique. I don't think they can't be inspired by older collections of other designers but in this case I think there is no place of inspiration, only plagiarism! How others can blame brands from fast fashion in copying when the luxe ones do the same?
What are thinking about it? I really want to know!

  7. OMG. Those are so similar. They look like totally plagiarism.

  11. great post.. u are right dear...unfortunately everyone is copying everyone in this life...
on the other hand you are right..it is so unfair to pay a fortune for the "creations" of the designers that they look exactly the same with others of the past...

  12. You're absolutely right. In fashion world is too easy to get "inspired".

  19. These are great! How did you come about the original designs? While it does seem a bit like plagiarism, it's through the styling that each design house makes it their own. Prada's take on the floral blouse is vast difference to the original sixties look.
